AI Usage and Transparency Notice.
Last Updated: June 2026
JobSite Intel AI uses artificial intelligence systems to support construction field documentation, project intelligence, and operational reporting. This notice explains specifically how AI is used, which providers power it, what data is processed, and what AI cannot do.
We believe construction professionals deserve to know exactly where AI is involved so they can apply appropriate judgment before relying on AI-generated outputs.
Where AI Is Used in JobSite Intel AI
Voice Transcription: Voice recordings captured in the field are transcribed using AI speech-to-text systems. The platform automatically detects whether audio is in English or Spanish. Transcripts are used to generate log entries, field reports, and searchable project records.
Narrative Generation: Our AI assistant, Soren, uses transcripts, structured section data, and project context to generate superintendent-style written summaries and daily log narratives. These summaries are assistive drafts — users can review and edit them before any report is finalized.
Voice-to-Structure Extraction: Voice note content is analyzed by AI to extract structured field data including crew activity, material deliveries, equipment usage, delays, safety observations, and visitor records. Extracted rows are surfaced as editable entries.
Report and PDF Generation: AI-generated narratives and structured data are assembled into formatted PDF reports for internal use and client distribution.
Project Story / Closeout Reports: When a project is closed, Soren generates a Project Story closeout report — an executive summary of project performance, key documentation, and timeline reconstruction — based on the full history of logs and media for that project.
Weather Correlation: Weather data from Open-Meteo (an open-source weather API) is automatically associated with project logs based on project address and log date. This is used to document weather impacts on project activity.
Safety and Scope Intelligence (In Development): Future releases will include AI-assisted safety pattern recognition and scope match analysis. These features will be labeled clearly when available.
Third-Party AI Providers
The following third-party AI providers currently power JobSite Intel AI's AI features:
- Anthropic (Claude) — Narrative generation, summarization, field activity analysis, report creation. Data processed: voice transcripts, structured field data, project context.
- OpenAI (Whisper) — Voice transcription and audio-to-text conversion. Data processed: raw audio files (voice notes, video audio).
Data and Model Training
Audio and transcript data are transmitted to these providers over encrypted connections solely for the purpose of generating your requested outputs.
We do not use your project content to train these providers' models without your separate, explicit consent.
What AI Cannot Do
AI-generated content within JobSite Intel AI must not be relied upon without human review for:
- Billing and payment decisions
- Insurance submissions or claims
- Legal proceedings or dispute resolution
- Safety compliance decisions
- Engineering or structural assessments
- Regulatory compliance determinations
- Project management decisions with material financial consequences
Your Responsibility to Review AI Outputs
By using AI features in JobSite Intel AI, you acknowledge that AI systems may generate inaccurate or incomplete outputs. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving AI-generated content before using it in any important project, billing, insurance, legal, or safety decision.
AI systems can and do make mistakes. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, misinterpreted, or missing important context.
AI and Your Data
Core service AI processing: Data processed to generate your requested outputs (reports, transcriptions, summaries) is used solely to deliver the service you signed up for.
No model training without consent: We do not use your uploaded project content to train AI models — ours or our providers' — without your explicit, separate consent.
Construction Intelligence Engine (Optional — Future Release): We plan to offer an opt-in program where anonymized, aggregated construction data can be used to develop cross-project intelligence (industry benchmarks, documentation patterns, risk signal identification). This program is strictly optional, unchecked by default at signup and in account settings, separate from all other consents, and fully revocable at any time without affecting your platform access. Full details will be provided when this program launches.
Error Monitoring
We use Sentry for platform error monitoring and performance tracking. Sentry may process technical data including error messages, stack traces, and session context to help us identify and fix bugs. Personal project content (photos, voice notes, narratives) is not intentionally transmitted to Sentry. We configure Sentry to strip authentication credentials from error reports.
